Online Training

Online training is for those employees away from the workplace such as reps and those working from home and out-of-town

Training at Client's site

Addskills is able to train at the Client's site and can provide notebook PCs if required.

This type of training is popular with corporates that need their hourly paid factory staff trained on computers at their workplace.

Classroom Training

Addskills conducts in-class training at it's site in Newton Park close to transport and taxi ranks.

Maximum 13 candidates per class.

Please inquire to Addskills for the schedule for course dates.

Online Training

For the more independent learners that cannot attend the in-class training, Addskills provides online training via Microsoft Teams.

Online training is better geared to learners that are more confident in their skills and already have MS Teams skills to handle the virtual interaction through the web.

Having a webcam, microphone setup and a good reliable internet connection is essential for the online training.

Online training allows training nationally and internationally.

How it works

These are the basic stages of engaging with Addskills.

A potential or current client contacts Addskills via phone, email etc. expressing interest in computer training.

The client's needs are analyzed and pre-assessments are conducted to establish at what level the learner may enter the training that is required.

Possible dates for training are established.

Once the learner's needs and required level and dates are established, quotations are raised and sent to the client.

The client then authorizes the training.

On receipt of authorization, Addskills books, and sends confirmation.

Once the quotation has been accepted by the client and authorization is sent back to Addskills an invoice is raised and sent to the client.

The learner attends the training, this can be:

  • At the Addskills site,
  • At the clients site,
  • Or online via MS Teams.

Training day times are normally:

  • Registration from 08h00.
  • Class starts at 08h30.
  • First tea, coffee and biscuit break is at 10h00.
  • Lunch at 12h00.
  • Afternoon tea at 14h00.
  • Assessment starts at 14h30.
  • Training ends at 16h30.

If training is conducted at Addskills, lunch, tea, coffee, biscuits and a courseware manual are included in the price.

End-of-course assessments are conducted with Addskills certificates given to the successful learner and feedback being given to the client's contact person.

At the feedback stage future training needs are evaluated and the cycle starts again.
